Frequently Asked Questions

How Much Are Your Collections?

The Collections begin at $3950. We find it creates more questions then answers to list all my Collections and their products. If we are within your price range we would love to sit down and go over each item in each Collection with you and discuss your wedding photography needs. If we can not meet face-to-face Sykpe or FaceTime works great too! Email me at Rebecca@3rdeyephoto.net to schedule a meeting.

What Is Included in Your Collections?

All Collections include the time shooting and editing all the images, an Engagement Session, an online album for viewing, sharing and printing, a photo registry available to your guests to give you the gift of art and a second shooter/assistant. Other additional products include FlashDrives with all your images for printing purposes as well as social media files (small files for social media use), high-end albums hand crafted for each event and an engagement or portrait session, day-of slideshows, Client for Life options and Thank You cards.  

Do You Offer Discounts or Elopement Collections?

Our photographer, Liz, handles all our elopement weddings as well as occasionally will offer budget-friendly Collections to fit your needs. You can also create your own Collection from the A La Carte Menu. Please don't hesitate to ask!

Do You Require a Deposit?

Yes, we request a $1500 deposit to hold your date. This deposit is non-refundable under most circumstances. The remainder is due 30 days prior to the wedding date. 

Do You Offer Engagement Sessions?

Yes, an engagement or portrait session is included in all the Collections. They are also available A La Carte. Engagement sessions can be held in a variety of locations depending on the time of year and distance. Some couples chose to use their Portrait Session to do other creative photos such as a boudoir session or a family portrait. Get creative!

When Should I Book?

Once you have your date! It is best to book a year in advance if possible.  It is always worth asking if we are available if it is much closer to your wedding date then a year. Saturdays book first with the last weekend in June, July 4th, the first weekend in August and Labor Day weekend being the most popular here in Crested Butte. 

When Will We See Our Photos & Get Our Products?

If you are staying in town for a few days after the wedding we like to invite you and your family/friends to come to the studio and view your images. We have drinks and snacks and a really fun time. This can be as early as the Sunday evening after the wedding.  All your products will be available within a week to 10 days after photos are selected and will ship all together. All your images will be available on your online album within a day or two after your wedding. All your photos are lightly edited and retouched. In-depth retouching is available upon request or when an album is purchased. 

What Is Your Style?

We are trained photojournalists and love to capture the moments in-between the poses. We still do some traditional posing, especially during our family portrait time. But we will be more of a fly on the wall during the reception and ceremony looking for the emotions between your friends, family and wedding party. During our portrait time we will give you some direction to make sure you are in the right light and look your best but our favorite images are the ones where the bride and groom are interacting and being natural.

Do You Travel?

Yes, we will travel anywhere! Depending on distance there may be an additional charge. I also frequent the East Coast in the early Spring and late Fall, so if you are getting married near New York we may be able to work something out without costing extra!
